Well, i was playing with the thought of giving an overview of the current New Maintainer Process status per mail, but I now have a blog and need to fill it with interesting stuff.
As you may know, tbm handled all FD stuff alone until the beginning of this year, when he appointed Brian Nelson and me to help him. We didn't do interesting stuff, but things happened :-)
With the help of some new Application Managers (and a really insane mass of applicants assigned to me) we got the number of people waiting for an AM down to 15 or so. That was the good part - but Martin Loschwitz resigned as AM a few weeks back (he didn't have enough free time for his NM tasks), so all his applicants needed to be reassigned. This is nearly done now, but the queue is as long as it was at the beginning of the year :|
Yeah! I have a blog now!
I have no idea what I'll write, but I now have place to ramble on about the unimportant stuff in my life, the stuff you don't want to hear and I don't want to speak about. Well, at least I'm doing what all the cool kids do nowadays.
